Trade & Investment Center (TIC) was founded as a Dutch foundation in 2003 by the municipality of Rotterdam, Rabobank Rotterdam, the Chamber of Commerce Rotterdam and the Rotterdam Port Authority. After operating as a foundation for seven years TIC Turkey was privatized by Michael Westenberg, Benno Op ten Berg and Hans Krielen in 2010. Trade & Investment Center BV continued some of the foundation's activities.    As a Business Development service provider Trade & Investment Center B.V. (TIC) provides a wide range of services to corporations, sme’s and governmental institutions that want to gain market access to Turkey and the Netherlands. TIC has its own representative office in Amsterdam (TheNetherlands) and Istanbul (Turkey) and a widespread network of agents and alliance partners in various other emerging markets to perform similar services for its clients and partners.   Based on its multi-discipline experience and network TIC supports organizations in entering the Turkish & Benelux market, innovation, in developing new product-market combinations and in turning new ideas into business. TIC advises on business targets, establishes the necessary relationships in Turkey and the Netherlands and provides all needed support during pre-sales, after-sales, entity establishment, supply-chain management and various stages of market development.
